Friends of Thanckes park would like to give huge Thanckes to The Courtyard Cafe in Torpoint for our huge tyre, compost and some of our plants, a lady called Helen for some of our strawberry plants and Steve Hilborn for kindly sourcing, delivering and helping us fill the tyres with Topsoil. And thank you to our mini fotpers for helping plant them up.

We were very proud to attend St James church 200th birthday celebrations this evening.

The tea hut is open today from 9:30am-12pm. Teas, coffees, hot chocolate and cake along with an activity for the children. activity is seed planting. Dogs on leads welcome.

We have some very good news. We have been awarded some Lottery funding which means we can go ahead with purchasing some playground equipment for our lovely park! The below images are examples of playground equipment that we could possibly get. (please note that there is no time frame for the installation as of yet.)
